Hindu singer dies in Bangladesh... Allegations against jail authorities
Hindu singer and Awami League leader Proloy Chaki (60) passed away in Bangladesh. He was arrested by the police on the 16th of last month in connection with a 2024 explosion case. He fell seriously ill while in jail custody. His health deteriorated due to pre-existing diabetes and heart-related problems. He was shifted to a hospital and died last night. However, there are allegations that the jail authorities delayed providing treatment.
