I believe in all religions: CJI Gavai
CJI Gavai responded to the criticism that he had spoken in a way that hurt the sentiments of Hindus. He said, ‘I believe in and respect all religions. My comments have been misrepresented on social media.’ The Supreme Court recently rejected a petition seeking an order to rebuild the destroyed Vishnu statue in Khajuraho. On this occasion, he commented, ‘Contact ASI or pray to God to do something.’
