I used to play music at weddings: Anirudh
Music director Anirudh, who now earns crores of rupees for each film, used to play music at wedding ceremonies in his childhood. He recalled in an interview that he was given Rs. 500 then, and sometimes they would just give him betel leaves and send him away. He said, "The happiness I got from that small amount of money is not felt even now, despite earning crores." Anirudh has proven that with hard work, one can rise from nothing to the pinnacle of success.
