India prepares for a mega trade deal with Gulf countries
While trade wars continue globally, India is forging ahead with a series of trade agreements. After the EU and the US, India has now started negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement with the six countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). If this agreement is finalized, exports and investments are expected to increase significantly. While deals are already in effect with the UAE and Oman, relations will also be strengthened with countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
