Indian film ‘Boong’ history at BAFTA.. Best Children’s Film Award!
Manipuri film ‘Boong’ has made a name for itself at the BAFTA-2026 awards. It won the award in the ‘Best Children and Family Film’ category. It set a record as the first Indian film to receive a BAFTA award in this category. It achieved this feat by beating Hollywood blockbusters like ‘Zootopia 2’. Directed by Lakshmi Priya Devi, the film was produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
