Insects Understand Plant Sounds, New Research Reveals
New Delhi: A recent study has revealed that insects can understand the 'language' of plants. This is a new development in the study of acoustic communication systems in nature. Scientists from Tel Aviv University in Israel conducted this research. As part of this, they conducted some experiments on female moths. Usually, female moths lay their eggs on tomato plants. They do this to provide food for the larvae that hatch from the eggs.
