Iran's drone attack on Oman's Salalah port
The war between Israel, the United States, and Iran is becoming increasingly serious. In response to Israeli and American attacks, Iran is carrying out a series of attacks in the Gulf and Arab countries. According to Oman TV, Iran has carried out drone strikes targeting oil storage tanks at Salalah Port in Oman. British maritime security firm Embraer has also confirmed the attacks on infrastructure.

Video of the Iranian attack has also surfaced. The attacks clearly show Iran's continued targeting of energy sites. Currently, it is being reported that merchant ships were not damaged in this attack by Iran. Following the attack, fire and smoke were seen in the oil storage tanks.
Sultan of Oman expresses displeasure
Following the Iranian attack, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al-Said of Oman contacted Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and expressed his displeasure over the ongoing attacks on Omani territory. The Sultan reiterated Oman's neutral stance in the war and said that Oman will take all necessary steps to maintain its security and stability. These attacks occurred after Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq congratulated Mojtaba Khamenei on being elected Iran's new Supreme Leader. The Times of Israel reported the congratulatory messages.
Ships Attacked in the Strait of Hormuz
Oman has been continuously trying to mediate between Tehran and Washington. The way the war is currently escalating makes it clear that all efforts are proving futile. According to media reports, three commercial ships have also been attacked near the Strait of Hormuz during the conflict.
