Israel sends delegation to Egypt, preparing to finalize talks
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he hopes the release of all hostages from Gaza will be announced "in the coming days." Meanwhile, indirect talks with Hamas are scheduled for Monday in Egypt to discuss the US's new plan to end the war.
Israel sends delegation to Egypt
Netanyahu said in a brief statement late Saturday that he has sent a delegation to Egypt "to finalize technical matters." He also said, "Our goal is to conclude these talks within a few days."
Trump welcomes Hamas statement
Netanyahu's statement comes after Hamas announced its acceptance of some of the conditions of the US plan. President Donald Trump welcomed Hamas' statement, but warned on Saturday that "Hamas must act quickly, or all possibilities will be lost."
