IT return filing deadline extended by another day
The Income Tax Department has once again extended the deadline for filing IT returns for 2025-26. This deadline was supposed to end on July 31. It was extended to September 15. Now it has been extended by another day (until September 16). Complaints have been received that many people are facing difficulties in filing due to a technical glitch in the tax filing portal. It is understood that the deadline has been extended in this context. Officials have advised that the filing should be completed within the deadline.
