Kudos to Suchika
Suchika Tariyal, a 36-year-old from Haryana, reached the semi-finals in the women's Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) 60kg category, thereby securing at least a bronze medal. In the quarter-finals, Suchika defeated Mongolian athlete Altantsetseg Baigalmaa 2-0. Even if she loses in the semi-finals, she is guaranteed a bronze medal. Meanwhile, in the men's 77kg category, Varun Sanyal withdrew from the competition due to illness.
