Man Cuts Off His Own Leg for an MBBS Seat
A man cut off his own leg to get a medical seat under the disabled quota. Suraj Bhaskar (20) from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, failed the NEET exam twice. Thinking that he could easily get a seat under the disabled quota, he cut off his leg and staged a drama claiming he lost it in an attack. The truth came out during the police investigation. The police have sought legal advice to take action against him, who is currently undergoing treatment.
