Manufacturing of prosthetic limbs in teaching hospitals
Amaravati: Health Minister Satya Kumar announced that prosthetic limb manufacturing units are set to be established in the state's teaching hospitals for the first time. He stated that these centers would manufacture essential aids for persons with disabilities, including prosthetic legs and arms, wheelchairs, hearing aids, and other assistive devices. He noted that the Central Government had stepped forward to set up these units in the state following a letter from CM Chandrababu.
