Medical Expense Limit for Former Cricketers Raised to ₹15 Lakhs
Hyderabad: BCCI Apex Council member Chamundeswarnath announced that the medical expense assistance fund provided by the BCCI to former cricketers has been increased from ₹10 lakhs to ₹15 lakhs. He stated that the proposal, which he put forward on behalf of the Indian Cricketers' Association during the Board's recent AGM in Mumbai, was unanimously approved by the members. This medical assistance fund is available to former cricketers who have played ten or more Ranji Trophy matches.
