Mysore Soap, Tamanna controversy once again on the screen
There is criticism over the appointment of Tamanna as the brand ambassador of Mysore Sandal Soap. BJP MP K. Sudhakar alleged that the appointment of Mumbai-born Tamanna for a Rs 6.2 crore contract for soap manufactured by Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited, a company under the Karnataka government, is a testament to the anti-Kannada mindset of Congress leaders. This contract, which was approved in May 2025, came into effect from today.
