Night Patrols in Elephant-Roaming Areas
Amaravati: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan directed Forest Department officials to alert the public in the Chandragiri area of Tirupati district following reports of a herd of elephants roaming the region. He instructed officials to continuously monitor the elephants' movements, identify their paths using drones, and provide timely updates to residents of nearby villages. He held a teleconference with Forest Department officials on Sunday and ordered the arrangement of special night patrols in villages located near the forest.
