Nissankas Unbeaten Century Powers Sri Lanka to 290 2 Against Bangladesh
Colombo: Opener Pathum Nissanka (146 batting) scored an unbeaten century as Sri Lanka took a huge lead in the second Test against Bangladesh. At the end of the second day on Thursday, Sri Lanka had scored 290/2 in their first innings. Nissanka was joined by Prabhat Jayasuriya (5 batting) at the crease. Nissanka and Dinesh Chandimal (93) put on 194 runs for the second wicket. Meanwhile, Bangladesh, which resumed its first innings with an overnight score of 220/8, were all out for 247 runs.
