No Shortage of Domestic Gas Cylinders: Minister Uttam
Telangana: Minister Uttam Kumar stated that there is no shortage of domestic gas within the state and urged the public not to be concerned regarding this matter. He acknowledged that there are difficulties in the supply of commercial gas cylinders. He stated that meeting the LPG requirements of the hotel industry has become a major challenge. He gave an assurance that he would hold a meeting with gas companies tomorrow to inquire into the situation and take appropriate remedial measures. The Minister warned that the licenses of agencies would be revoked if they were found to be hoarding or black-marketing cylinders.
