No Time for Experiments
Captain Shubman Gill stated that India has few matches remaining before next year's ODI World Cup; therefore, he clarified that there would be no experiments within the team. He noted that the current squad would also play the ODI series against New Zealand, as there was no need to rest senior players. Gill highlighted the crucial roles Rohit and Rahul would play in the World Cup and remarked that their ability to score centuries was a positive sign. India is set to tour New Zealand in the third week of this month for a long series comprising five ODIs and five T20s.
