New Delhi: Crude oil prices are surging again. Last Friday, the average price of a barrel of crude oil imported by India reached $101.07—a level unseen in the previous six weeks. On Tuesday, the pro-Iran Houthi militia once again attacked oil fields in Saudi Arabia. Compounding the situation, tensions between the US and Iran are escalating further. Consequently, crude oil prices in the international market are soaring, with the price per barrel touching nearly $100 on Tuesday.
