Padikkal creates new history
Karnataka player Devdutt Padikkal has created a new history. He has become the first player to score over 700 runs twice in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He scored 737 runs in 2021 and is currently continuing with 721 runs in the current season. He has scored four centuries and two half-centuries this season. Overall, in this list, Tamil Nadu player Jagadeesan (830) holds the record for the most runs scored in a single season.
