Penalty if PF is withdrawn for wrong reasons!
EPFO has warned customers who withdraw PF without proper reasons. It has announced that if money is withdrawn for wrong reasons, it has the power to recover it along with penalty and interest. PF should be withdrawn only after retirement/after reaching retirement age. Partial withdrawal of cash can be done for health emergency, marriage, children's education, house construction. Appropriate papers should be submitted for that.
