Petition in Supreme Court to release Wangchuk
Environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk's wife Geetanjali has moved the Supreme Court seeking an order to release her husband. She has filed a petition alleging that her husband was illegally arrested. She has accused the Ladakh police of working with an agenda to make someone a scapegoat for the clashes. She has written to President Murmu and PM Modi asking if she is eligible to meet her husband.
