Convincing the protesters has become a significant challenge for the government. On Thursday, protesters took to the streets in large numbers, chanting slogans against the government. They broke through barricades and continued advancing. This led to clashes with police, resulting in the deaths of at least two people. This has further fueled the protesters' agitation. Protests have been ongoing for nearly five days. Large crowds have gathered on the streets day and night. In several locations, protesters set vehicles on fire. The protests, which were over the state of public services, turned violent, forcing police to open fire in a southern city to control the situation, killing two people. These deaths occurred in Leklia, located about 500 kilometers south of Morocco's capital, Rabat. Police accused of snatching weapons. Morocco's state-run news agency, MAP Citing local officials, the agency reported that police shot two "troublemakers" in self-defense. The agency said the men were trying to seize police weapons. However, no eyewitnesses could confirm the report, and no further details were provided.
