Preeti, Jadoomani advance to boxing quarters
Glasgow: Indian boxers Preeti Pawar and Jadoomani Singh advanced to the quarters at the Commonwealth Games. Preeti knocked out Debora Tenji (Malvi) in the second round in the women's 54 kg category. The referee stopped the bout after Debora could not withstand Preeti's punches. In the men's 55 kg pre-quarters, Jadoomani defeated Sumama Rehman (Pakistan) 5-0.
