New Delhi: The Supreme Court has observed that the issue regarding the registration of students who have returned after pursuing medical education abroad is a complex matter. It stated that a thorough inquiry into this matter is necessary, as it involves critical aspects such as the enforcement of regulations, the future of the students, and public health. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Indian students pursuing MBBS degrees abroad returned to their home country during the 2020-21 period. During that time, the universities abroad conducted classes for them via online mode.
