New Delhi: Balochistan activists have delivered a shock to the Pakistan government. Activists who have been fighting for decades to secede from Pakistan issued an official declaration proclaiming Balochistan an independent nation—the Republic of Balochistan. They claimed that 85% of Balochistan's territory is under the control of their forces. In addition to unveiling a national anthem titled 'Ma Chukain Balochani' and a national flag, they designated the 'Balochi Fals' as the country's currency.
