Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has rejected a ceasefire proposal with the United States. Reuters reported, citing an Iranian official, that he stated the need to exact revenge upon the United States and Israel. The report quoted Mojtaba as clearly stating, "This is not the time for peace. The United States and Israel must kneel, admit defeat, and pay reparations." It further noted that two nations had sent proposals to Iran suggesting a de-escalation of tensions with the United States.
