The Jaipur POCSO court has delivered a shock to Royal Challengers Bangalore star bowler Yash Dayal, who is facing rape allegations. The court rejected his anticipatory bail petition, stating that granting bail would not be appropriate while the investigation is at a crucial stage. Police registered a POCSO case against Dayal based on a complaint from a girl from Rajasthan, who alleged that he sexually assaulted her after inviting her to a hotel under the pretext of giving her advice on cricket. If the crime is proven, he could face a ten-year jail sentence.
