Rs. 27 Crore Allocated for Cyclone Relief Operations
Amaravati: The government has sanctioned Rs. 27 crore to 20 districts for immediate relief and rehabilitation efforts in the wake of Cyclone Arnab. An allocation of Rs. 2 crore each has been made for the districts of Bapatla, Krishna, East Godavari, West Godavari, Konaseema, Kakinada, and Anakapalli. Additionally, Rs. 1 crore each has been allocated to the districts of Prakasam, Markapuram, Guntur, NTR, Eluru, Alluri, Polavaram, Manyam, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Nellore, and Tirupati. Sai Prasad, Special Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, issued the orders to this effect on Monday.
