Rs. 8.65 Crore Released for Samagra Shiksha Staff
Ongole (Education): The government has released a grant to pay the salaries of employees working under the Samagra Shiksha scheme. State Director of School Education, Tameem Ansariya, issued orders to this effect. Samagra Shiksha employees had been facing significant hardships due to the non-receipt of salaries for June and July. A report highlighting this issue, titled "No Salaries," was published in *Andhra Jyothi* on Monday. Responding to the report, the Director released the grant for salary payments. While a total of Rs. 137.98 crore was released for the 26 districts across the state, Rs. 8.65 crore was allocated to Prakasam district.
