RTC earns huge revenue... Rs. 67 crore in 5 days
Telangana: The Sankranthi festival brought a windfall for the RTC (Telangana State Road Transport Corporation). Officials revealed that they earned Rs. 67.40 crore in revenue from fares between January 9th and 13th. They stated that the average daily income was Rs. 13.48 crore. The RTC operated 6,431 special buses, and an additional Rs. 2.70 crore was earned daily through these buses. Officials stated that special buses will continue to operate today and tomorrow as well.
