Rural Development Department Prepares to Implement VBG-Ramji Scheme
Amaravati: With the Employment Guarantee Scheme set to transition into the 'VBG-Ramji' scheme starting July 1, Krishna Teja, Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, issued orders on Sunday constituting an empowered committee. This committee will provide recommendations on the reforms required within the Rural Development Department for the implementation of the new scheme. Kannamanayudu, Member Secretary of the Society for Rural Development Services, will serve as the chairman of this committee.
