Bangkok: The hopes of the Indian doubles pair, Satwik and Chirag, to win the Thailand Open Badminton tournament title for a third time went unfulfilled. Although they saved four championship points in the final, it ultimately proved to be in vain. In the title clash held on Sunday, the Satwik-Chirag duo was defeated 12-21, 23-25 by Rolly and Daniel (Indonesia), thereby settling for the runner-up spot. The Satwik-Chirag pair had previously emerged victorious at this venue in 2019 and 2024.
