Sensex jumps 1000 points... Here's the reason!
The stock market indices witnessed a massive bounce back today. The Sensex remarkably recovered by a whopping 1000 points from its intraday low. Finally, the index closed 301 points higher at 83,878. The Nifty rose by 106 points to settle at 25,790. Positive comments made by the US appointed envoy Sergio Gor regarding a trade deal with India lifted the indices. This put an end to five consecutive sessions of losses.
