Southwest Monsoon Withdraws from North India
Visakhapatnam: Dry weather has prevailed across North and Northwest India over the past few days, with rainfall subsiding. Additionally, an anti-cyclone (high-pressure system) has formed over the Rajasthan region. Based on these conditions, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) announced on Saturday that the Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from North India as well as several parts of Central India. Meanwhile, heat intensity has increased in the state, with temperatures recording two to three degrees Celsius above normal levels.
