Steam rice for schools and welfare hostels!
Telangana: The Civil Supplies Department has decided to supply steam rice to schools and welfare hostels in the state. The quality of food served to students will increase with steam rice, said the department's commissioner Stephen Ravindra. It is believed that this will benefit 35 lakh students in the state. Steam processing before grinding prevents the grains of steam rice from breaking. The rice will be tasty and dry.
