Stock markets in heavy losses
In the wake of the Iran-US/Israel war, the domestic stock market indices started with heavy losses. The Sensex fell 1,568 points to 78,669, while the Nifty fell 476 points to 24,388. Shares of Infosys, BEL, HCL Tech were in the gains. LT, Tata Steel, Adani Ports, M&M, and IndiGo were in the losses. The rupee crossed the 92 mark against the dollar and touched an all-time low.
