Thieves Wreak Havoc in Kurnool District; Head Constable's House Burglarized
Thieves created a scare in the Srinivasa Nagar area of Kurnool city. They committed burglaries at two consecutive houses, stealing large quantities of gold and silver jewelry along with cash. It appears the thieves targeted locked houses and struck when the occupants were away. Among the targets was the home of Head Constable Mahesh in Srinivasa Nagar; the thieves stole approximately 23 tolas of gold jewelry and 6 tolas of silver jewelry from the house before fleeing the scene.
