Three Months' Ration to be Distributed at Once
Hyderabad: The government is set to distribute a three-month supply of rations—covering August, September, and October—in a single installment. Chief Rationing Officer Raji Reddy announced that 59,602.822 metric tonnes of rice and 7,279.513 metric tonnes of wheat have been allocated for the district's 843,607 food security cardholders; the rice will be provided free of cost, while wheat will be distributed at Rs 7 per kilogram. He stated that the commodities could be collected between August 1 and August 31.
