Trump Welcomes Xi Jinping at the Airport
Washington: Chinese President Xi Jinping received a grand welcome upon his arrival in the United States on Thursday for an official visit. US President Donald Trump, who has frequently criticized China, personally went to the airport with his wife, Melania, to welcome Xi and his wife. Subsequently, Xi was accorded a red-carpet welcome during the official reception ceremony at the White House. Trump later hosted a dinner for Xi at the White House.
