War effect.. Falling price of chicken eggs!
The ongoing war between America-Israel vs. Iran has also affected the poultry sector in our country. The loss is estimated to be Rs. 5 crore per day. Due to the halt in exports to the Middle East countries, the stock of chicken eggs has increased and prices have fallen sharply. The National Egg Coordination Committee has fixed the price of each egg at Rs. 4.30, while the local markets are offering Rs. 3.50. It is likely to fall further in the coming days.
