We Do Not Want a Dumping Yard
Kothur: A "Chalo Collectorate" protest organized by the residents of Kothur Mandal—part of the Shadnagar constituency in Ranga Reddy district—led to a tense situation. The residents were demanding the cancellation of the Government Order (GO) establishing a dumping yard, which they fear will pose a severe threat to their health. The protest was spearheaded by Mandal Congress President Yellaram Shekhar Reddy and JAC Chairman Ambati Prabhakar in opposition to the proposed dumping yard in Siddapur village.
