Weather Deteriorates on Kedarnath Route; Two Helicopters Diverted to Agastyamuni
Due to adverse weather conditions in Uttarakhand today, two helicopters were forced to make emergency landings. Consequently, a major mishap was averted. All 10 passengers aboard the two helicopters are safe. During the Char Dham Yatra, the risk of helicopter accidents often looms due to inclement weather. As a precautionary measure, the emergency landings of both helicopters were carried out.

According to reports, adverse weather in the Rudraprayag district compelled two helicopters operating on the Kedarnath route to make emergency landings at the Agastyamuni sports ground. Officials stated that this decision was taken in the interest of safety after weather conditions suddenly deteriorated in the Guptkashi and Ukhimath areas.
**Landings Executed as Weather Deteriorated**
It was reported that one helicopter was traveling from Badrinath towards Sersi, while the other was flying from Dehradun to Phata. As soon as the weather turned foul, both helicopters were directed to make emergency landings at the sports ground in Agastyamuni.
**Total of 10 Passengers Onboard**
A total of 10 people, including the pilots, were on board the two helicopters. Fortunately, all passengers remained completely safe. Upon receiving the information, an administrative team promptly arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Once the weather cleared, both helicopters successfully took off.
