Woman Endures Agony in Muscat
Dudekula Shehnaz, an impoverished woman hailing from Valmikipuram village in Annamayya district, traveled to Muscat, Oman, through an agent in search of employment to support her family. Having been deceived by the agent, she endured a living hell once she arrived there. She contacted her husband via phone—even recording and sending a video—to report that she was not being paid her salary, nor was she being provided with food or water; furthermore, she revealed that she was being beaten and subjected to harassment whenever she dared to ask for these basic necessities. Weeping bitterly, she appealed to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to rescue her.
