Heavy rains today
APSDMA has said that moderate to heavy rains are likely to occur in Bapatla, Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor and Tirupati in AP today. It has said that light to moderate rains are likely in the remaining districts. Meanwhile, in Telangana, Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Vikarabad and joint Mahabubnagar have been issued a yellow alert by IMD by 8.30 am.
