Telangana: It is known that the Cabinet has approved the lifting of the two-child rule currently in force for contesting in local body elections. The ordinance will amend the Panchayat Raj as well as the Municipal Acts. That is, along with local body elections, it will provide facilities to contest in municipalities and corporations. The government will send this ordinance to the Governor today.
