Afghanistan is planning to control water from flowing to Pakistan. Taliban Supreme Leader Maulavi Haibatullah Akhundzada has ordered the construction of a dam on the Kunar River as soon as possible. He suggested that the agreement should be made with domestic companies instead of looking for foreign companies. It is noteworthy that this decision was taken after the border clashes between the 2 countries. It is known that India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty after the Pahalgam terror attack.
