US sanctions on major Russian oil companies
US President Trump has imposed sanctions on major Russian oil companies Rosneft and Lukoil. This will prohibit US individuals and companies from doing any business with the companies. He said the measures would increase pressure on Russia's energy resources and weaken the country's economy. He said he would favor peace and urged Russia to agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine.
