1,342 athletes removed from 'Khelo India'
Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya revealed in the Rajya Sabha that 1,342 athletes have been removed from the Khelo India program in the last 3 years. He said that this is due to performance and doping violations in the country. He said that 2,905 new people have joined in 3 years. The center launched this program in 2017 to identify and train sporting talent. Currently, 23K+ athletes are undergoing training under this.
