Mess charges to be increased soon: Minister Savita
Andhra Pradesh: Mess charges will be increased soon in BC pre-matric, post-matric hostels and gurukuls, Minister Savita replied to a question in the Assembly. He said that the government's goal is to provide nutritious food to students. He said that a decision on the increase in charges will be taken under the auspices of the nodal department. He reminded that the then TDP government had increased mess charges by 66% between 2014-19.
